Balloons
Dozens of
Hot Air Balloons including the US Bank and RE/MAX Balloons will grace the
skies with their beauty on several occasions this weekend. It has been
said that the best time to watch a competition is during the morning
flights. Imagine seeing the sunrise with nothing but blue skies and white
clouds one minute and the next dozens of colorful balloons rise over the
tree line. It is a spectacular sight that everyone should see.
Beautiful and awe inspiring are just a couple of the words used to
describe this spectacular activity.
You can advertise your company on a balloon or your corporate balloon can
be a part of the activities. For $1,000 plus the cost of the banner you
can have your company name being seen by thousands of individual’s
through-out the Bowling Green / Warren County Area. See Hot Air Balloons First Hand: (weather and wind conditions permitting)

Saturday, September 8
6:45 a.m. (30 minutes after sunrise) -- Competition
Flight #1 Balloons
will rise from around the county and fly into the BG/WC
Airport.
5:15 p.m. (must be out of the air by dark) -- Competition Flight #2
(Hare and the Hound)
Watch the “Hare” Balloon lift off and chased by dozens of “Hound” Balloons
from the BG/WC Regional Airport. How long will it take the “Hounds” to
catch the “Hare”?
Sunday, September 9
6:45 a.m. (30 minutes after sunrise) -- Competition Flight #3
Accuracy is the key to this competition. Balloonist will rise from around
the county with the goal to fly into the
airport, get as close to a
predetermined area and throw or drop bags onto an “x” on the ground.
All Balloon Activity is subject to weather and wind conditions. Our first
priority is the safety of the pilots, crew members and volunteers involved
with the Balloons. If at any time, conditions are present or develop then
the Balloons will be grounded for that specific competition or event. The
decision whether to continue or to cancel the event will be at the sole
discretion of the competition organizers and Balloon Meister. We apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your
understanding.
