 Friday Night
On Friday night, Sam 100.7 will once again present Bowling Green Idol, an event which grows in popularity each year. Local solo artists will audition in advance of the event and be narrowed to a field of ten by a panel of knowledgeable, independent judges. These ten individuals will perform one song each, center stage on Friday night before being narrowed to a group of five finalists. The finalists will then perform a second set in hopes of being crowned 2007 Bowling Green Idol Champion. Opening act for the evening will be Captain Dean and the Freedom Fighters, followed by Bowling Green Idol, and Friday night stage entertainment concludes with a concert by Exit 4.

 Saturday Night

Stage entertainment Saturday evening will feature a first for the event. WGGC 95.1 will sponsor a concert featuring not one, but two country music headliners. Country music stars Danielle Peck and Eric Church will both appear in concert for the first time ever in Bowling Green

6:00 p.m. -- Lindsey Lea
Opening act for the evening will be Bowling Green’s very own Lindsey Lea.

7:30 p.m. -- Danielle Peck
There is an undeniable division in Danielle Peck's voice. A bluesy pull, a reluctant smokiness that, when it breaks, yields soaring, ringing, soul-stirring power and clarity. That tantalizing slow-pour tension is a fitting reflection of the artist herself and is demonstrated when she sings her hits of “Findin’ A Good Man”, “I Don’t”, and “Isn’t That Everything”.

8:45 p.m. -- Eric Church
Eric Church's songs are as straightforward as he is. His music looks its listener in the eye and speaks plainly about the human condition. It is a line that passes through Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings to John Prine, and is finding a handful of torchbearers in this new century. His hit singles include favorites like “How Bout You”, “Guys Like Me”, and “Two Pink Lines”.

Saturday night's performances are presented by WGGC 95.1
